Amy Hopkinson set her Garden Design studio, based in Islington, in March 2020. Since then, she has taken on a range of projects in and around Central London for both residential and commercial use.
Specialising in transforming urban gardens, courtyards, roof gardens, basement and window boxes into fresh and immersive green escapes, we seek to combine great design, carefully considered planting palettes, classic luxury materials with modern touches.
Amy Hopkinson Biography
Amy studied Garden Design at the prestigious KLC School of Design, located at Chelsea Harbour, where she graduated with a Merit.
Prior to retraining as a Garden Designer, she worked at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) as Assistant Show Manager of the RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace Flower Shows. She also spent time working in the City of London, as a well as Parliamentary Researcher in the House of Commons after gaining an degree in Politics and International Relations.
Inspired by the natural landscapes of the Southwest where she grew up, Amy loves to contrast the use of traditional materials and painterly planting with modern and bold finishes and accessories.
