Amy Hopkinson
Amy’s passion for garden design and horticulture is inspired by the landscapes of the Southwest, her travels abroad and interest in garden design history.
Prior to setting up her own Garden Design Studio, Amy retrained as a professional Garden Designer at KLC School of Design in 2019, where she graduated with merit. Prior to this Amy worked as Assistant Show Manager at the Royal Horticultural Society, working to organise, develop and deliver the RHS’s Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace Flower Shows.
In 2021, Amy was recognised in ProLandscaper’s prestigious ‘30 Under 30’ competition (image of link to article?) as one of the thirty people who show exceptional potential within the industry.
Since winning the award, Amy has worked at Garden Club London as well as freelancing for other design studios. She also has worked on many planting teams at various flower shows and other projects.

Garden Design Studio
Amy Hopkinson is an award-winning Garden Designer based in Exeter, Devon, and specialises in creating beautiful and inspiring outdoor spaces for both home and workspaces.
The studio was founded in January 2020 in Central London but recently relocated to Devon, where Amy grew up. Amy works on a range of projects from complete garden makeovers to smaller planting projects. Amy focuses on creating contemporary gardens that reflect a sense of place and the people that use them. Each project is completely unique and tailored to your needs and budget.

Gardens should reflect our personality and create a sense of atmosphere and place as well as standing.

Gardens can be used for a variety of purposes and for many different people; I create gardens specifically to work for the current owners and people that use them. The best thing about creating a garden is that it continues to develop and improve over time.
